Emily Toth is a professor of English and Women's Studies at Louisiana State University in Baton Rouge. She earned her PhD from The Johns Hopkins University.〔(LSU faculty profile )〕 She is also a writer, including as a columnist and several books and papers on American writer Kate Chopin.
